Working in Spain is a highly valuable life experience and the perfect way to broaden your horizons. You'll meet new friends, discover new places and, of course, learn heaps of Spanish abroad. Should you choose this option, once you arrive at your school you'll do a four-week long remedial Spanish abroad course (an intermediate level is generally required) while the school searches for a job for you. You'll start working the following month. All student jobs abroad in Spain are paid, so you can take advantage of this to earn some extra spending cash or lower the total cost of your trip. Note, however, that only citizens of EU member states and/or legal residents of Spain with valid work permits can get a paid job in Spain. Schools do not arrange for working papers for students without them. This is a great way to pad out your CV.
