    • General Conditions

Go Spanish Abroad is a private company specialised in organising study abroad trips to our associate schools in the Spanish-speaking world.

We guarantee that all courses, accommodations, and complementary services are faithfully and factually described on this website (any and all special arrangements and/or agreements should be set in writing and signed by Go Spanish Abroad, S.L).

The personnel in charge of transportation for the pick-up service are fully insured and familiar with the area and know where the students are to be dropped off.

Our partner schools have been awarded the Certificate of Quality in the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language ("CEELE") by the Philology Department of the University of Alcalá, the Association Eduespaña and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.

Go Spanish Abroad guarantees a maximum of 10 students per classroom in any intensive Spanish course in our partner schools.

For registrations received a week prior to the beginning of a course we do not guarantee the type of accommodation requested by the student due to the fact that priority is given to those students who have registered further in advance.

In the event that a student is not satisfied with their assigned accommodation and is justified in their claim, they will be allowed to change to another accommodation of the same type (with a maximum of 3 changes) and should communicate their desire to change their accommodation to their school's housing manager during the first week of their stay.

All students should inform Go Spanish Abroad S.L. or their host family of their approximate time of arrival ahead of time. In the event that one of the previously mentioned parties is not duly contacted in advance, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will not be held responsible for greeting nor picking up the student upon his/her arrival.

We do not guarantee the availability of accommodation for family or friends of resident students as other students always have priority.

If a student decides to interrupt their study plan, such as by taking a week off, they will be charged a cancellation fee to be determined by their school and the weekly cost of their course will be increased to reflect consecutive weeks of study. For example, a student who decided to take a one week break in the middle of a 20 week course would be charged for two 10-week blocks of continuous study before and after the break, rather than a single 20 week block.

      Pick-Up Service

The flight information (terminal, time of arrival, flight origin and flight number) or other arrival information (bus terminal or train station, time of arrival, origin, bus or train number and bus company) must be confirmed in writing at least one week prior to arrival. If this information is not received at least one week prior to arrival, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will not be held responsible for picking up the student and the cost of the service will not be refunded.

The student may cancel their pick-up service and receive a full refund by giving at least one week of advance notice. If the student cancels the pick-up service with less than one week's notice the cost of the service will not be refunded.

Go Spanish Abroad S.L. must be notified of any delay in arrival. In the event of any delay or changes in the student's flight or travel information without previous notification, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will not be held responsible for picking up the student and the cost of the pick-up service will not be refunded.

All program fees must be paid 3 weeks prior to arrival.

The 250€ deposit will not be refunded for cancellations requested less than 3 weeks before arrival.

A minimum of 4 weeks will be charged for cancellations once the course has started or if the cancellation is requested less than 3 weeks before arrival.

All refunds have an administration charge of 10% of the total cost or 65€, whichever is greater.

All students who wish to cancel their course and/or accommodation prior to their arrival should notify Go Spanish Abroad S.L. in writing by fax, e-mail (, letter or telegram. Cancellations not received in writing through one of these four channels will not be accepted.

Once the programme has begun (course and/or accommodation), the student will not receive any type of refund (except as allowed by the cancellation policy).

Go Spanish Abroad S.L. cannot be held responsible for cancellations due to force majeure or health or personal problems.

The administration fee charged at cancellation after a visa is issued is 35% of the total cost or 350€, whichever is greater.

Any change of accommodation, school, destination, course or study plan after arrival will incur a fee of 120€. Changes from one accommodation to another of the same type made within the first week are exempted from this fee, as are changes from one internship to another of the same type.

Any unplanned break during the course of a programme will also incur the aforementioned fee (120€), however the accommodation must be paid in full for the originally programmed length of stay regardless.

      Holidays in Spain

Please note that official dates are not yet confirmed. National and local holidays are subject to change. Please check with our Head Office in order to confirm the exact dates before planning your programme or your trip because schools will be closed during official holidays (national and local).

In case of two holidays ocurring in the same week (Monday to Friday), only one day of missed lessons will be made up, with the exception of one to one lessons.

All one to one lessons missed due to holidays will be made up.

How can I book my reservation?

In order to confirm your enrolment you must leave a deposit in the amount of 250€*. Please pay the deposit via bank transfer or credit card (VISA or MASTERCARD only). See the section below on "how to pay" for more details about the payment process. All reservations that have not been paid or confirmed via deposit at least 3 weeks before the beginning of the programme may be cancelled.

The 250 € deposit will count toward the total amount owed but is non-refundable.

How can I pay for my Spanish course?

First you must send a 250 € deposit fee* along with the completed registration form. If you prefer, you may pay the full programme cost (course + accommodation) up-front at this time. The complete programme cost must be paid in full at least 3 weeks prior to the start of the programme. You may pay the deposit and programme fees in any of the following ways:

      1. If you prefer to do a bank transfer please contact us directly at or by using the Contact Form. We will send you the appropriate information.

      2. Fax us your VISA or MASTERCARD information at (+34) 91 448 27 55:

Please be sure to indicate the exact amount that you are authorising us to charge to your credit card.

      3. Pay online, through our web site.

Upon receipt of your registration form, we will confirm your enrolment in the courses you have selected and send you a confirmation e-mail as well as a letter by post. You will also receive the bill for your programme which must be paid in full at least 3 weeks prior to the start of said programme. All registrations that have not been paid or confirmed at least 3 weeks prior to the beginning of the programme may be cancelled.

      Entry Visas

European Union citizens from Schengen countries do not need any kind of visa to enter Spain and are entitled to residence. Additionally, citizens of the following countries are entitled to an automatic six-month tourist visa upon entry and are not required to notify the Spanish Embassy of their arrival beforehand: Andorra, Australia, Brasil, Chile, Croatia, Guatemala, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Venezuela, Brunei, South Korea, El Salvador, Honduras, Malaysia, Monaco, Panama, San Marino, Singapore, Argentina, Canada, Costa Rica, United States, Israel, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Vatican City and Uruguay. Note that while a tourist visa allows students to enrol in courses and apply for internships it does not allow them to work for money in Spain.

Students coming from countries other than those listed above should request information regarding the requirements for obtaining a VISADO (VISA) at their nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate. The certificates that accredit and confirm enrolment in a Spanish course at the school can only be signed, sealed and sent by those agents authorised to do so by Go Spanish Abroad S.L., who will not be held responsible for rejected visa applications due to the fact that these documents do not have any official status and merely serve as confirmation of a course in one of our associate schools. Such documents will only be sent to confirm the amount of course time initially contracted by the student. Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will send out, free of charge and to any student who asks for them, the following documents (if and only if the total cost of the programme has been paid):

      • Confirmation of the Spanish programme chosen by the student.
      • Invoice for the total cost of the program in question (course + accommodation).
      • In the event that the student should urgently need the original copies of any of these documents, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will send them and charge the cost of mailing to the student.

If a student visa is rejected, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will charge the student 100€ per invitation letter sent, the 250€ deposit and any additional administrative costs incurred. The student will be obliged to show Go Spanish Abroad S.L. a clear copy of the original formal proof of the rejected visa in order to receive their refund. If this copy is not received by Go Spanish Abroad S.L., 100% of the cost of the programme will be charged.

Any refund will include a 10% charge on the total cost of the programme.

Student visas DO NOT GRANT PERMISSION TO WORK IN SPAIN. Furthermore, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. only sends documents accrediting courses for the purpose of getting a student visa. We do not in any way help students to get work visas.

Students are not covered for any illnesses, accidents, loss of personal property (neither at their accommodation nor inside or outside of the classroom). Go Spanish Abroad S.L. recommends the purchase of our own insurance, which is available to all students who wish to contract it.

Upon signing the enrolment application form or paying the course fees, the student accepts all the conditions described above. If, under any circumstances uncontrollable by Go Spanish Abroad S.L., the price of accommodation should go up, Go Spanish Abroad S.L. will notify the student in advance of said changes. Go Spanish Abroad S.L. is not responsible for any typographical errors and/or misprints contained in this website.
